Kill the baker

When one is a fairly social being and has lots of friends its not uncommon to have many soiree's...just the other day i had an exquisite luncheon planned and were preparing my cucumber and truffle club sandwiches and to my absolute shock and horror three pieces of mine bread had significant holes in them..what sort of baker does this..its totally unacceptable and thus i rang him with my wrath...yes i gave him a good dressing down and in the end he was sympathetic to my cause and offered mineself a new loaf but as anyone who knows about dinner parties and club sandwiches the pieces must fit exactly...what was i to do with the sandwiches already made...i had to eat them mineself..and thus i did and no, that baker will never have my custom again...Tartly Roud
